Cala Bassa, a natural environment

Cala Bassa is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. It got its name due to its clear turquoise waters, which makes it looks like an enormous natural swimming pool. Its sand is very light and fine and it is surrounded by one of the natural juniper parks on the island.

Cala Bassa is located to the west of the island, very close to the village of Sant Antoni de Portmany, approximately 17 minutes by car.

From the Cala you can appreciate the mountains on the horizon, headed by the Cap Nonó, which opens up to the  northeast coast and its various coves.
